Racy and fresh, this irresistible rosé has a beautiful pale pink/salmon color and notes of blood orange, lavender, and minerals on the palate. It’s a blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Rolle (Vermentino). In 2004 Karina and Guillaume Lefèvre purchased this historic property which includes the Chapel of St. Magdalene Fields dating to 1725. Amphora found on the site have been dated to the 1st century C.E., so wine was probably made here at least that long ago. Karina and Guillaume immediately began to convert their 29 hectares of vineyards to organic viticulture. They are now certified organic and are incorporating biodynamic practices into their vineyard work. The grapes are harvested by hand at only 35 hl/ha. Karina, born in Brazil, and Guillaume, born in Marseilles, use indigenous yeast and very low doses of sulfur.
