Founded in 2006, 4Kilos is a partnership between a winemaker (Francesc Grimalt) and a musician (Sergio Caballero) that began with an investment of 4 kilos. The pair are committed to uplifting native varieties and using the local terroir to allow the wines to shine. All grapes are harvested by hand from vines averaging 25-50 years old. This particular cuvee, named in honor of Grimalt's father who worked in the auto industry, is fermented in clay jars using ambient years. Unfined, unfiltered and no sulphur added.
