Expressive and nuanced yet juicy enough for the name, this is a bright and easygoing orange wine. Harvested by hand on sandy flint and limestone soil. Indigenous yeast fermentation in steel tanks. De-stemmed grapes macerate for 30 days' skin contact in tank. Aging for 12 months in steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation after primary fermentation adds fuller and softer mouthfeel. Bottled unfiltered with no added sulfites. The grapes come from Domaine de la Croix Mellier, a neighbor of the Joussets.
